Novikov Yuri Ivanovich. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of his birth
The article dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Yuri Ivanovich Novikov, an outstanding Soviet obstetrician/gynecologist, scientist, educator, public figure, professor, Corresponding Member of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences, highlights his biography, scientific, pedagogical, and medical activities. Being in due time the Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Acad. I.P. Pavlov First Leningrad Medical Institute and the Research Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology, USSR Academy of Medical Sciences, Yu.I.
