Rational approach to hormonal therapy among women after 40 years
The necessity and possibility of using of hormonal drugs for women over 40 may could be associated with certain difficulties. On the one hand, they have the possibility of conceiving and unwanted pregnancy. On the other hand, after 40 years, the percentage of uterus pathology increases, as well as extragenital pathology which complicates the use of hormonal therapy. Another important question is the duration of the use of combined oral contraceptives (COCs) and for the transition to menopausal hormone therapy.Dubrovina S.O.
